The Ojas ecosystem
Last updated: 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Ojas Events — the event management and ticketing platform operated by CHITRAM.AI PRIVATE LIMITED (“Ojas”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, listing an event, or buying a ticket, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Ojas Events lets organisers create event pages, sell and issue tickets, manage attendees and check-ins, and message their audience. Attendees use it to discover events, buy tickets, and manage their bookings.
We provide the platform. Events themselves are run by their organisers: when you buy a ticket, your contract for the event is with the organiser, not with Ojas.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an organiser account. Keep your credentials confidential — activity under your account is your responsibility. Tell us immediately at support@ojas.events if you suspect unauthorised access.
Account information must be accurate and kept current, including your legal or business name, contact email, and tax details where applicable.
As an organiser you are responsible for:
Online payments are processed by regulated payment providers (such as Razorpay and Cashfree). Ojas does not store your card details. Ticket prices, taxes, and any booking fees are shown before you pay; the amount you confirm is the amount charged.
Some organisers accept offline payment (for example, bank transfer or payment at the venue). Such orders are confirmed only when the organiser marks the payment as received.
Refund and cancellation terms are set by each organiser and shown on the event page or order confirmation. Refund requests go to the organiser first. Where a refund is approved, it is returned through the original payment method.
If an event is cancelled, the organiser is responsible for refunding ticket holders. Where we charge a platform fee, it may be non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Your ticket fee is set once for your organisation — a small percentage of each ticket plus a fixed amount per ticket, with free tickets exempt — and you can see it in your billing settings before you put tickets on sale. Today that fee is quoted, not collected: we do not deduct it from your payouts and we do not add it to the buyer’s total. If we start collecting it, or revise it, we will tell you first, and the change applies only to sales made after that notice.
You must not use Ojas Events to:
We may suspend events or accounts that put attendees, other customers, or the platform at risk.
You keep ownership of the content you upload — event descriptions, images, and branding. You grant us the licence needed to host and display that content so the platform can do its job (for example, showing your event page and sending your ticket emails). You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
How we collect and use personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We work to keep the platform available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service — maintenance, upgrades, and events beyond our control can cause downtime. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ojas is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the six months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from fraud.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, after notice where practicable. On termination we will make commercially reasonable efforts to let you export your event and attendee data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to retain or delete it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the registered office of CHITRAM.AI PRIVATE LIMITED.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are notified to account holders by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
